MARCH 6: FUNERAL FOR LAWRENCE CHURCHILL

Our beloved brother Lawrence Churchill went home to be with the Lord on February 14. His funeral will be at the church on Friday, March 6 at 11:00am. There will be a light lunch following the service. The interment service will take place out of town on another day. (Please speak to Pastor Yuri if you would like to attend.) Please pray for Selma, as well as his children, grand-children and great-grandchildren. We will greatly miss Lawrence’s warm smile and pastor’s heart.
 

MARCH 7: BAKING CLUB

If you have a passion for baking, this is the place for you! Join us on the first Saturday of every month from 1:00-4:00pm, to help make tasty treats to share for church events and our Sunday morning coffee time.
 

MARCH 14, 9:00-3:30: MEMBERSHIP CLASS 

Would you like to become a member of Bethesda Church? Join us for a membership class on Saturday, March 14! We will talk about what church membership means in general, what we believe here at Bethesda and also, what steps, responsibilities and privileges are involved in becoming a member of the church. It will also just be a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about our church or just to get to know one another better! Even if it turns out that membership isn’t right for you (right now), it will be time well spent! Lunch will be provided, so please let Pastor Yuri know if you plan to attend.
 

APRIL 5 (EASTER SUNDAY): BAPTISMS!

Our next date for baptisms will be our Easter Sunday service. If you would like to be baptised please reach out to Pastor Yuri, as he would like to schedule some small group discipleship sessions to talk through what baptism means and answer questions from the Bible about baptism and discipleship.

BETHESDA’S SHARING PANTRY!
This new initiative allows Bethesda’s community to care for one another and reduce waste all for the low, low price of…FREE! Donate non-perishable food or household items in good repair, and please feel free to take anything that could be useful to you. The sharing pantry is located in the room next to the gym.
