Starts April 28!
Does the Bible confuse you? Don't know how to connect it to your faith? Maybe you even have trouble believing that Jesus even existed. Don't worry! You're not alone. Luke's Gospel is a great place to begin getting honest answers to your honest questions!
Luke was a well-educated and trustworthy doctor who learned alot about Jesus as he travelled along having dangerous adventures with his pal Paul. In his book, he promises his readers that he is giving them an "orderly" account of Jesus' life, that it is "eye-witness" testimony that he has "carefully investigated", so that they can "know the certainty" of what they have been taught. (Luke 1:2-4)
Every other Sunday @ 6:00 pm
On April 19 we're starting a study of the beautifully strange book:
If you've never joined us before, now is the perfect time to do so! Not only are we starting a new book, we find ourselves in a unique moment in world history, a moment in which God is calling us to re-evaluate our lives and our priorities, to ask ourselves difficult questions, to lean in and to think hard about the role we have to play in God’s grand project of cosmic restoration.
As unfamiliar—even daunting—a book as it is, Ecclesiastes is a great lens through which we can interpret what’s going on in the world, since without flinching it brings us face to face with our scariest questions and, although it leaves some of them uncomfortably open ended, it still offers plenty of practical, get-your-hands-dirty advice.
